I hadn't planned on making rings, but last summer a large number of ring bases came unexpectedly into my life, shortly after I had made myself a ring using one of the very few ring bases I had. I figured that this was the universe's way of telling me that rings needed to happen. I immediately got loads of comments on the ring I had made for myself, which was a blend of these green, turquoise, and blue golds. I remember thinking at the time I was making mine that the colour combination would look really lovely as a gradient, and I finally got around to making the ring the corresponded to the thought.
